New Era were seeking a partner to help with two primary goals: first – migrating eCommerce from SAP Hybris to Shopify Plus, and second — creating an elevated eCommerce design for the AU & NZ market. 

While the brand is managed by its United States headquarters, the Australian business was given leeway in how to apply that brand on their Regional store.
The Working Party approached the re-platform and the redesign in two key steps:

  1. Hosted workshops with the New Era team presenting various options for design approaches, before creating a visual design system that applied the brand across all eCommerce components.
  2. Designed the eCommerce website across mobile and desktop, and built an exceptional experience atop our theme development framework. 
The result of this consultative project approach is exceptional with the site receiving international recognition from the likes of Harley Finkelstein, President of Shopify and an award for ecommerce design from the NYX Marcom Awards.
