It’s official: The Working Party expands to New Zealand

Published: 0 July 2024

We're excited to announce a new chapter in The Working Party's journey—our official expansion into New Zealand. With its vibrant retail scene and rich pool of talent, New Zealand presents a fantastic opportunity to extend our eCommerce services further into the region.

The decision builds on our established relationships and recent successes in the market. By formalising our operations across the Tasman, we hope to demonstrate our commitment to the local talent and thriving retail industry for many years to come.

Kelly Brown, our CFO and Co-Founder, shares: “We've always been passionate about discovering and nurturing exceptional talent. Over the past year, we’ve recognised the quality of professionals in design, development, strategy, and delivery in New Zealand and have since welcomed many of them to the team.”

As for retailer partnerships, our successful collaboration with prominent Kiwi brands, Superette and 99 Bikes, have focused on streamlining eCommerce operations and enhancing customer experiences. The positive outcomes in working with both brands have sparked the opportunity and desire to work with even more.

We’re looking forward to creating new relationships with established and emerging brands, amplifying the exceptional work happening in this exciting market and supporting more New Zealand brands in providing exceptional eCommerce experiences.

The expansion was first officially announced at an intimate retailer dinner we co-hosted with Klaviyo in Auckland during June 2024. It was later announced to the wider industry and retail media early July.
