Digital producer / project manager position at The Working Party Melbourne

The Working Party is a digital design and development agency with offices in Sydney and Melbourne.

We’re on the hunt for a digital producer / project manager who is passionate and highly organised – creating the perfect bridge between our high–visibility clients and expert team.

You’ll have a natural curiosity that helps understand the clients needs and sets projects up for ‘wild success’ as well as thrive in a collaborative environment focused on best practice.

You have managed projects before, preferably in an agency setting, are have a proven track record of delivering on time and on budget whilst also exceeding client expectations.

You may be working as a mid level producer, project manager or account manager, and are ready to take a step up, or as a senior level producer looking for a new challenge where you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and influence the business, reporting directly to the GM.

Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. Work from our brand new, beautiful offices in West Melbourne, fitted out with Opendesk custom furniture and Steelcraft Gesture chairs. Small Batch coffee also included.

Skills

  • You’re passionate about all things digital, you’re aware of best practice and up to date with design trends.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can clearly translate client needs into tasks for your team.
  • You are familiar with the digital project lifecycle (from discovery/brief inception, scoping, estimation to creative concepts, design, technical build/integration and testing/QA).
  • You are adept at leading both the client and team though the project lifecycle, delivering beautiul end products, and securing commercial outcomes.
  • You have a proven track record managing budgets and resource calendars, and are able to juggle priorities daily to meet needs.
  • You are aware of 'scope creep', have the ability to identify it early and activate change to keep projects on track.
  • You are able to both produce and interpret reports to positively influence business processes and output.
  • You are comfortable leading the daily stand up with the team, and contributing to design reviews, brainstorming sessions etc.
  • You have a decent chunk of client facing experience and are able to manage expectations and identify new opportunities.
  • You are familiar with at least one time tracking, project management and resource allocation tool.
